We are a small intimate brotherhood looking for aspiring bruins intent on improving their intellectual, moral, and social being through friendship. Our vision is to build a diverse organization that betters each other, and the UCLA community as a whole, through a responsible social, academic, and philanthropic lifestyle.
Intellectual
Work Hard
It all begins with the work. At Theta Delta Chi, our prime objective is to build intellectually capable men. As IFC’s 2x Most Improved Chapter by GPA, we always strive to improve our academics, be it through brother-to-brother mentorship, dedicated study nights, or access to our vast library of resources, textbooks, and a house Chegg/CourseHero account. We like to give our brothers every tool they could possibly need to succeed, so they could make the most out of their years at UCLA.
Make Connections
Our fraternity has a large group of alumni currently working in the fields of medicine, engineering, business, and real estate, all eager to lend a helping hand and mentor the active brothers. Our national fraternity also offers leadership retreats twice a year at locations including MIT, Berkeley, and Cornell for select members from each chapter.
Social
Brotherhood
Every quarter, we host a series of brotherhood exclusive events, including date nights, KBBQ nights, movie nights, and much more. The brothers use this time to socialize, relieve stress, and most importantly, make the best of their college days.
Play Hard
Here at Theta Delta Chi, we pride ourselves on our ability to have a responsible social life while upholding our rigorous academic standards.
Retreats
Being a smaller fraternity, we have the unique privilege of being able to afford a weekend retreat away from the big city every quarter to locations like Big Bear, Joshua Tree, and Santa Barbara. This is a time for our brothers to really bond and make unforgettable memories.
Moral
Autism Speaks
We believe we have a moral duty to help our community, so each year, we host a philanthropy event in coordination with Autism Speaks, where the brothers spend a day playing with and raising awareness for children with autism.
Pie A Frat Bro
We also make it a priority to help raise money for a different cause every quarter. In winter of 2020, we held Pie a frat bro which helped raise funds for the Pediatric Aids Coalition.
